Have you been having a rough day or are negative thoughts creeping you down or are you still haunted by your past?
I am guessing you have at least one of these scenarios disturbing your current state of mind. Overcoming all these takes a fair amount of time and continuous hard work. In order to have a positive attitude, we must first have to change our sub-conscious thinking.
The question arises: HOW?
The answer to this question is very simple. Start analyzing every thought that pops up in your mind until positive thinking becomes your habit. People would say, “BUT NEGATIVE SITUATIONS ARE A REALITY. THEY JUST SHOW UP IN EVERYDAY LIFE.” Even I used to think the same way, but then I realized that this is absolutely not true.
Situations are a reality: YES
They do show up: YES
But it is all in our hands; it’s all in our attitude that makes the situation positive or negative. Our attitude is everything, as it determines our life’s direction.
Always remember that
A GREAT ATTITUDE BECOMES A GREAT MOOD,
A GREAT MOOD BECOMES A GREAT DAY,
A GREAT DAY BECOMES A GREAT YEAR,
AND A GREAT YEAR BECOMES A GREAT LIFE.
So even if you have been a pessimistic, negative thinker for years, it’s never too late to change your way of thinking and read the benefits of positive attitude and seriously you will be amazed to see your life changing. It’s time for us to realize that we and only we are in control of how we think and feel. We can be inspired by a thought, or a task or a book, but it’s just a starting point towards a positive change. The rest has to come from within. Nobody can possibly handover to us the key to positivity. It all begins with intent. We must know the general direction in which we want to move, and have enough substance and work put in towards it. To get started on that path, we may need a spark, and that spark is inspiration. That’s the only thing any outside force can exert—to spark of inspiration and positivity. The rest has to be done by our own selves, in our own manner, and in our own time.
Moving in right direction
Start spending time in nature, watching the orange sunset, gazing at the vastness of ocean or the huge mountains. Sit in a park full of beautiful and colorful blossoms, or escape to the country side, or just spend a few minutes to stare out of the window, this will surely provide you an opportunity to restore yourself and you’ll get a self-reflection of how you envision your life.
Start looking at the bright side of your life and choose to be happy and optimistic. Find reasons to smile more often and have faith in yourself. Find out what you really want to happen with your life. Know where you are going and what you want to do. Start to visualize and master your thoughts.
So just get up and start embracing affirmative thoughts, open your mind’s door to thoughts and ideas which enables your growth and success. Guide and motivate yourself towards obtaining favorable results, thus creating joy and happiness in your life. It’s high time we take responsibility of ourselves and embrace the inner beauty of a positive soul.
